I personally think I didn't do a good job on my part of the presentation. On the spread sheet, my group wasn't highlighted in purple so I thought we were not going to get called when we did. We weren't prepared to present because of the spread sheet. Dan's and Rami's presentations were considerably better because they had time to prepare what they were going to say while I didn't because I went first. I don't believe I went deep enough into the scenes to give a through analysis to the class. I think if we were more prepared for the presentation things would have been way better.

ChinaTown
The movie does not have a narrator. The story is about an investigator name Jake Gittes who is trying to solve a mystery behind the water department of LA county. One of the head people (Hollis Mullwray) is murdered and now he is looking for the person who murdered him. Hollis's wife Evelyn Mullwray, works with him but she is hiding something from him. Throughout the movie, Jake displays he the type of character who doesnt go down without a fight. Evelyn then packs her stuff and is ready to leave when Jake starts asking her questions she could barely answer. During this time, Evelyn reveals her secret that her father Noah Cross raped her and the mystery girls Jake knows about is Evelyns sister/daughter Katherine. When Jake hears this, all the pieces of the puzzle came together instantly. He then tries to book Noah for what his paln and for what he has done but the police have turned to his side and wont arrest him. The movie ends sadly as Evelyn is killed when trying to escape with Katherine, and Noah gets away with Katherine. In Film Noir, usually the villan gets what he wants and the heroes get nothing.

This film is a very realistic film. Most of the characters only care about themselves and try to get what they want by any means necessary. During the days of Film Noir, having affairs or sexual relationships was very popular.
